The HPAM Game® is a highly interactive team approach game developed to help Organizations on their path to implementing organization-wide holistic physical asset management.
The objective of the game is to look at the key physical asset lifecycle strategic & tactical activities and match them with corresponding key functional areas of the organization. It helps Organizations to:
  • Understand the whole spectrum of strategic and tactical activities required for a holistical and organization-wide physical asset management approach;
  • Identify ownership issues, gaps and overlaps that could exist and that are critical for the successful implementation of physical asset management;
  • Develop action plans to implement whole lifecycle physical asset management across all functional areas to meet the strategic objectives and enable the realization of maximum value based on the context of the organization.
The HPAM Game® is based on the book “Physical Asset Management - An Organizational Challenge”, and is delivered in a full-day workshop format. Participants will be grouped in Teams of similar companies or industry types on separate tables. They will have the opportunity to assume different functional area roles, debate among themselves about the physical asset lifecycle strategic & tactical activities: how they apply to their organizational context, how important they are to their stakeholders and from a whole lifecycle perspective, roles and responsibilities in their effective implementation, the issues surrounding ownership, and how to potentially resolve them.
